Nioh 2: The Tengu's Disciple is the first DLC expansion for Nioh 2, developed by Team Ninja and released in July 2020. This expansion takes players to the late Heian period, where they encounter a new storyline involving the historical figure Minamoto no Yoshitsune. It features new missions, enemies, bosses, and additional weapons and armour. The Tengu's Disciple introduces the Splitstaff weapon and new Yokai abilities, enhancing the combat dynamics.
