Lord of Tokens is a free browser-based massively multiplayer management simulation set in the artificial intelligence industry. Each player runs a competing AI company, hiring researchers, scraping datasets, purchasing server infrastructure, training models and releasing products to acquire users. Companies can also research unexplored technologies, contribute to open source and invest on a stock market. Players compete for market dominance within a shared zone, where prices and market share emerge from the collective decisions of everyone playing. The simulation runs on a one-to-one time scale, with one real-world day corresponding to one in-game day, so a company keeps operating while its owner is offline.
